Mrs. Deshone D. Hedrington - Assistant Principal of Attendance

Mrs. Hedrington has served as an accomplished school administrator for more than two decades, holding assistant principal positions at Lincoln High School, Belle Vue Middle School, Cobb Middle School, and Leon High School. She was recently appointed as the principal for R. Frank Nims from 2024-2026. During her fourteen years at Leon High School, she oversaw student attendance and led several key operational areas, earning a reputation for building strong relationships with students, families, and staff while ensuring efficient school operations. She is proud to return to Leon's rich legacy of Tradition, Pride, and Excellence to continue serving students and families with integrity, compassion and excellence.
